Another action packed weekend in the books as the fifth round of the Rumble in Richmond boys lacrosse tournament took place at the River City Sportsplex in Midlothian, Virginia on November 4th and 5th.  80 teams from seven states and Canada filled this beautiful complex.  The high school

divisions of 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2018 each played 3 games a day in a showcase format in front of nearly 30 college coaches.  The youth brackets of 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022 battled it out with champions crowned in each division.  SCORES AND FULL RESULTS HERE (Tourney Machine)

Despite cloudy skies and some afternoon sprinkles on Saturday this was an awesome Fall weekend of lacrosse.  The vendor village was rockin’ and the play on the field was intense.  Thanks to our vendors who held it down in VA – Thunder Bay and our official merchandise, All Pro Tactical, Bar Down, First Scout Productions, GOAT USA and Wolf Athletics. At the high school ranks four teams stayed perfect over the weekend with three going 6-0. Triad Elite Gold put on a show in the 2018 bracket taking down all their opponents with a combined score of 74-22. CherBoys also went 3-0 on Sunday with stellar defensive play.  At the 2019 level the Cape Fear Shamrocks from South Carolina dominated and went 6-0.  Local product Amped put in work to stay unbeaten (6-0) in the 2020 division.  757 Select took the top ranks at the 2021 class going 4-1 over the two days.

In the 2022 division 3 teams finished 3-0 in pool play – Carolina Lite Red, Bucktown and ELEV8 Futures Black.  In the Pool 6 playoff ELEV8 edged out the Shamrocks 4-3 to win that bracket.  The Pool 5 bracket found Bucktown and Carolina Lite Red in the championship.  Bucktown came out on top 11-7.

15 total teams hit the fields for the 2023 division. Pool 8 saw the #3 seed Greensboro Patriots dig deep and take down the undefeated Carolina Xtreme 5-2 in the championship. Carolina Lite Blue wrapped up a perfect weekend taking down the Shamrocks 6-5 in the title match.  In the semi’s the Shamrocks knocked off Valley Select 7-4 as Carolina Lite Blue beat Bucktown 6-4.

Venom 2024 got revenge as they took down Carolina Lite Silver 6-5 in the 2024 Championship. Carolina Lite Silver was the top seed coming out of pool play on Saturday. In 2024 Pool 10 Team 91 Carolina Cannons took care of business knocking off ELEV8 Rising Black 11-6 to finish 5-0.

The 2025 division pitted two unbeaten teams in the championship in 757 Select and the boys from Florida National Team. The solid defensive play all weekend held true for FNT as they finished with the ‘W’ beating 757 Select 9-4.

Carolina Xtreme put together a Sunday run together wheeling off 3 wins to take down Team 91 Carolina Cannons 6-4 in the championship. In the semi’s Xtreme beat Bucktown 6-4 while Team 91 continued on with the 6-1 victory over Carolina Lite White.
